Safe Kids Car Seat Install
3 out of 4 car seats are installed improperly. Let us check the Child Passenger Seat in your car. Or do you need a child safety seat installed?
St. Lucie County Fire District along with the St. Lucie County Health Department and Port St. Lucie Police Department are providing free Child Safety Seat checks. They are scheduled twice a month at various lo-cations. Appointments are needed. Please call 462-3501 to schedule your appointment.
When scheduling your appointment, please have the following information:
- Age and weight of the child
- Make, model and year of the vehicle
- Manufacturer, name and model number of the car seat.
If you don’t have a car seat, there are a limited number of car seats available. We ask for a $25 donation.
You must bring your child, car seat and vehicle to the appointment. Please bring the User’s Manuals for both the vehicle and car seat.
